The Long Game

The forum was built in 2004.
We're building 2026.

Thrum is a modern, mobile-first community for car and bike enthusiasts — the 5,000-word ownership review, the Friday-night ride plan, the build thread you'll still be adding to in five years. For everyone with an engine.

No noise. Early access first — and not before.

What we're building
  • № 01

    Long-form, built for length.

The 5,000-word ownership review, the travelogue, the build thread — written to be read in full, and kept where you can find it again.

  • № 02

    A garage worth keeping.

Every machine you've owned, set down properly — the specs, the history, the mods and the mileage. Your record, not a feed.

  • № 03

    The road, planned together.

Map the ghat, set the meet, share the route. Group rides coordinated where they actually happen — on a phone.

Chronology is honesty.

An algorithmic feed decides what you see. Thrum is chronological by default — you choose what matters, and the good thing from three years ago isn't buried.

DETAIL · CALM AT IDLE

Thrum is a modern, mobile-first community for car and bike enthusiasts in India — for everyone with an engine: cars, bikes, electric vehicles, off-road builds, classics, and motorsport. It's a home for long-form ownership reviews, travelogues, a structured garage, and planning the roads worth riding.

It's being built in phases — a web forum and structured garage first, native mobile apps next, then group-ride planning. India-first, designed for global expansion, mobile-first by default, and chronological — no algorithmic feed. We're building for the next two decades of enthusiast culture the way the forums captured the last two.

Frequently asked
  • What is Thrum?

A modern community platform for car and bike enthusiasts in India — being built for long-form ownership reviews, a structured garage, and planning the roads worth riding. Chronological by default, mobile-first.

  • Who is it for?

Anyone with an engine — cars, bikes, EVs, off-road, classics, motorsport. If you read 5,000-word ownership reviews end to end and plan rides on WhatsApp groups that should be apps, this is being built for you.

  • When does it launch?

Phased: web first, then mobile, then group-ride features. We're collecting waitlist signups now and will email when each phase opens. We're building for the long arc, not a launch-day spike.

  • How is it different from Team-BHP or Reddit?

Team-BHP earned a generation of trust over twenty years — Thrum is additive, not a replacement. Where it differs: mobile-native, chronological by default, with a structured garage and group-ride coordination built in.

  • Will it cost anything?

Joining the waitlist is free. Thrum is community-first and ad-free — we won't sell your attention. Pricing isn't set yet; when it is, there'll be a meaningful free tier, and we'll say so plainly.

The miles are better shared.
